Taste to good to be real sugar? The hidden chemicals you didn't want.

Did you know a recent study completed at the University
of Duke, found that Splenda®:
  • Contains no elements of natural sugar
  • Contains chlorine
  • Is a heavily processed chemical artificial sweetner
  • Damages and/or kills off healthy bacteria
    that lives in your gut?

How about this food for thougt? A direct quote
from that study also finds that "Splenda® suppresses beneficial
bacteria and directly affects the expression of the
transporter P-gp and cytochrome P-450 isozymes
that are known to interfere with the bioavailability
of nutrients. Furthermore, these effects occur at
Splenda® doses that contain sucralose levels that are
approved by the FDA for use in the food supply.”"

Wow! Yet another recent study has found that an un-
healthy digestive tract can lead to insulin
resistance, obesity, and pure immune system response
.
So if more than 80% of our immune systems live
and thrive in our digestive tracts, control major
aspects of our health, then bad bacteria that feed off
of sugar and refined carbohydrates is literally creating
dangerous bacterial imbalances in our bodies.

What do we do about it?
Get rid of the sugar, artificial sweetners that contain
chemicals or break down into toxic chemicals once ingested.
Add fermentable fibers like sweet potatoes, yams or
yucca. Try to eat fermented foods like kefir, greek
yogurt, sauerkraut and add high-quality, multi-species
pro biotics containing Lactobacillus and Acidophilus.

And most of all, remember that the prescription medications,
other over the counter medications, and dietary
suuplements may interact with each other as well as
the chemicals we ingest that may be in our food. Drop the
highly processed foods and opt for fresh and/or frozen.
